I got distracted and ended up doing a new logo… I really, really liked the old one but it was consistently misleading with ‘Muggles’ as a buzz word for wizarding fans around the world. The new one took a whole lot of tweaking, I have been having monitor calibration woes on/off for awhile so I really hope it displays as true to form as possible.

If it helps the old logo was thus:

This currently means I still owe my two-three readers two comics/pretty-things and some decent blog entries. I shall try to do this buuuutttt… there is a copy of the oh-so-lovely ‘Mark of Chaos’ that needs dealing with defeating… I am but a mortal man, with mortal game playing needs.

Just thinking about playing makes me tingle a little inside… I’m currently engaged in the initial High Elf sections and I managed to turn a potentially disastrous foray against the Skaven into a resounding victory. Mostly it was because I failed to realise the potential of a rather powerful one-use item that regenerated units that had been lost (within a limited radius and with a limited duration[long enough to rebuild half a regiment or more]), this meant I foolishly squandered two combat regiments when I over reached myself early on… I basically had the repeating crossbow, the mage hero and the archers (hero-attached) with which to destroy the three structures with while a consistent flow of Skaven came for them. I lost the repeater some time later because it went one-on-one with a massive Skaven (I forget what they were called from my genuine wargamer days) but the regeneration of the half dead archers and the magic spells of the hero in general led to eventual victory.

Ah, sweet tainted Chaos…
