Technically Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition Player’s Handbook… technically.

I loved Talon of the Silverhawk, I loved King of Foxes… I even liked the third book of the trilogy which was a little inferior to the first two and more of a set-up for the next trilogy. I have finally got round to starting that second trilogy.

Flight of the Nighthawks
I’ve been told a few things about and it and gather that there are one or two continuity errors. I’ll hold off annoyance until I’m done.

I’m also re-reading Sabriel, Abhorsen and Lirael because I finally got them back after a three-year lend to a very dear friend who was in hospital at the time :) I really, really love how Garth Nix portrays necromancy in the world he has created… it is beautifully done. His other work hasn’t really appealed to me.

I’ve been doing a lot more writing and doodling than reading and yet still I’ve managed to let Urban Muggles slip into a horrible state… Whilst my friends may bitch or take the piss of the numerous things my mind ties itself up with I’ve still put more than a foot forward, so nurgh! :P

Flight of the Nighthawks
Errors between books aside I thoroughly enjoyed it, the first chapter or two alone sold it to me.

Lirael
The biggest of the three Nix books that make up the Old Kingdom Trilogy (if memory serves well) and perhaps the weakest in places, still a good read and I will enjoy moving through it again.

I’d love to have some way to catalogue books/media that I’ve enjoyed…
