The Twitter entries are annoying if rant posts and strips aren’t dispersed daily so I’ve gotten rid of them, they still appear in the sidebar and on twitter itself. I’m also having to enable/disable the twitter notification of a new entry here because it tends to re-post everytime I edit a previous entry… which is just frustrating. It is however a very good plugin, just has some niggles

There will be strip uploads coming, I’m just not in the best place to work on them right now and I’m sort of engrossed in Jade Empire which I’ve finally got round to purchasing (for the PC [Special Ed. Copy]). Its quite heavy on the storytelling and dialogue, initially to the detriment of enjoyment because it broke the actual game play up so much but eventually something I came to quit enjoy. The moral choices come thick and fast and by the time I had infiltrated the Lotus I was feeling thoroughly corrupted despite having done much good (and the occasional ‘evil’ deed). I feel guilty about at least two well-mannered NPCs that died because of my moral failings… :/ I wished I had been stronger. One of them didn’t even further my larger aims… :s

Christmas has been fun so far, I’ve got more pairs of socks than I shall ever need in this lifetime…

A Twittering Individual who followed me of late peaked my “Who be this?” twitch and I stumbled on an entry about an entry that was about (what appears to be…) a currently raging debate on the various Twitter-like services out there. I ended up commenting on that entry and then the origin because it seemed appropriate but since I expressed a more rounded view than I thought I had on the matter I’m making an oh-so dangerous posting here. The Gaping Void post.

The general feel I have for services like Twitter is that they provide a very easy and very simple way to get the information and thoughts out there for people who don’t want the responsibility of running a blog, want to avoid the invasive data-mining of the social network and very quickly fire off something witty, something silly, something topical or genuinely answer that all important Twitter question… What are you doing?

I’ve done three fairly random Tweet Poems and while I cannot protest towards any great quality I found them mildly enjoyable and amusing to create. Why not have a go (You don’t have to be a Twitter user, just limit yourself to 140 characters) and comment with your own efforts?
